Anyway, glad you made it here in time. Would've been bad if both of us were stuck outside.

I'm supposed to meet up with some friends of mine, [ he sighs while leaning back against the couch now that he's got the feeling back in his limbs. ] I guess they'll have to deal with me being a little late.
[ he shrugs at her question and pulls off one of his gloves, holding his hand palm up between them. ]
No idea what a thaumaturge is and I'm not really a mage, but I can do something like that.
[ if she's talking about mages, he figures she's probably into that sort of thing or does it herself, so he's less inclined to be worried about throwing his power around so carelessly. the air around him is already warm, but there's a small surge of heat before flames bloom in his hand, licking up his fingertips. ]
Not sure if this is the kind of thing they do where you're from. [ there's another shrug as he closes his fist, dispelling the fire and tugging his glove back on again. her smile gets her one in return, despite the weary chuckle that accompanies it. ]
I think I might've been close to losing a few fingers out there, but thanks for the vote of confidence.
