As 9S works, 2B is plagued with myriad thoughts of how this will play out. Even if YoRHa were to drop in on them now, she's confident that they'd be able to take them on; really, it would only be the first of a million times they'll likely have to strike down their former comrades once they're branded as traitors. As a combat model, the thought almost excites her... but she knows that 9S likely feels differently.
Best case scenario, she lives on in infamy like A2, untouchable and dangerous. She knows that that isn't an option for 9S, though; as an invaluable Scanner model, he's far too precious to allow to slip away. It's because of this that 2B strengthens her own resolve.
